A highly diverse and accomplished Commercial and Conceptual Artist with a commitment to quality workmanship and team productivity. Main areas of concentration include multimedia, graphic and technical illustration, 3-D computer drafting, virtual technology, promotional art, marketing exhibits, storyboard art, special effects sculpture, animation, fine art and Giclee’ canvas. Extensive experience designing corporate logos, trademarks, promotional materials, brochures, presentation proposals, and fine art sculpture. Most recently in July 2008, Wyndell has become an Exhibits Preparator for the world-class, University of Texas, Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, Museum.

    Studio of the Wynd                                                                           Freelance Conceptual Artist/Fine Artist

Responsible for creating and maintaining client relationships offering a variety of services including conceptual design, computer generated graphics, perspective design, animation, sculpture, commercial logo and t-shirt designs while continuing to produce Giclee’ canvas prints for sale to galleries and patrons. Included within personal portfolio of clients are 3M, Texas Instruments, AMD, Trammell Crow, Heart of Texas Animation, Rood Productions, City of Round Rock, and Texas State agencies. Broad experience in multidimensional and virtual technologies, art direction, design of corporate logos and trademarks, brochures and promotional presentation as well as magazine cover art, performing all stages of production development from layout and design to finished product. Produced four animated TV Commercials, including the Texas Railroad Commission for propane cars and Roods interactive educational CD.     Kamstra Communications, Inc., Advertising Agency                           Graphic Artist/Technical Illustrator

      Responsible for creative conceptual design for agency clients including 3M, Sunbelt Transformer and Specter Instruments. Designed and developed an advertisement for Sunbelt Transformer published in industrial trade magazine resulting in a 1000% increase in customer responsiveness during a one month marketing performance test. Created over 100 technical illustrations for 3M to be used on the U.S. Harpoon Missile Connection Protection Systems during Desert Shield Operation. Designed and implemented brochures, manuals and illustrations for 3M Automotive, Electrical, Static and Scotch Tape Divisions, still being utilized throughout the 3M organization. All projects followed through the entire process from working directly with the customer, creative design, photography, layout, going to press, final print, verification to inspection, and delivery within budget and timeline.

     

          Lockheed Aerospace of Austin                                                  Graphic Artist/Technical and Military Illustrator

            Responsible for generating graphic art, technical and military illustrations, convention murals, clear foil graphics and computer graphics within the Technical Publications division by soliciting projects throughout the organization with security clearance. Created proposal presentations to enhance Lockheed bid’s to the Federal Government ; technical illustrations for the Aguila Unmanned Flight Surveillance; computer graphics for the Blue 109 Missile Systems used in Desert Storm and airbrush presentations for the Hand-off Air Land Battle Management, Division, and  Marketing Division. Designed, created and produced Lockheed Christmas cards, and Staff caricatures through the Printing Division. Served as liaison between Artists and Printing Division, between Artists and Computer Specialists, between Client and Printing Division. Conceptual Designer.

 

          El Taller Gallery                                                                          Museum Preservation/Master Picture Framer

Responsible for the sales, scheduling, materials purchasing, design, full construction and assembly of all picture frames. Additionally, exhibited sculptural art, serigraphy and Giclee’ works for sales to customers. Wyndell, possess over 25 year’s experience as a master picture framer, with complete knowledge of preservation frame construction, assembly and mat sculpting.

  

    Zipadeedoodah Toy Company                                                   Organizational Manager/Promotions Director

Organizational Manager, developed process flow for the production, inventory control, shipping and receiving procedures of toy manufacturing. As Promotions Director, created exhibits and sculpture for the World Trade Center in Dallas, Texas, as well as inventing and creating various toys for special promotions. Conceptual Designer.

 

    Faulk Construction Management

     Master Builder / Site Superintendent / Supervisor

      Seven years experience serving as Master Builder and Site Superintendent, contracting to Michael Faulk Architect and      

      Construction Managers, Caden, Inc., for the construction of single and multi-story Medical Facilities, including the Brushy Creek

      Professional Centre in Round Rock, Texas. Responsible for photographic archive and all phases of building construction,

      understanding Architectural plan design and development, site preparation, land development, underground conveyance, water

      quality, detention facilities, heavy equipment, trenching and pier drilling, shoring and safety equipment, sample cores to base

      compaction, form construction, structural, electrical, mechanical, gas, air, firewall, insulation, finalization of all fixtures, finishing,

      landscaping and final release. Responsibility to ensure completion of all projects within a predefined schedule, and budgetary

      guidelines in excess of $5 million. Supervised and managed the daily activities of over 250 subcontractors, daily logs and

      photographs. Accountable for all phases of building inspection and scheduling of City Inspectors and Engineers. Other

      experience includes finish out, remodel construction, perspective rendering, field documentation, safety procedure, computer

      data management and as-built drawings.
